Smyth Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional to work across multiple client sites, providing expert HSEQ support and helping drive a strong safety culture.

The role in a nutshell:

As Mobile HSE Advisor, you will provide professional health, safety, environmental and quality support across client locations, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and industry best practice.

Main duties include:

  • Develop and maintain safety statements, risk assessments and HSEQ procedures
  • Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 integrated management systems
  • Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments
  • Manage emergency preparedness and response planning
  • Prepare project H&S documentation, including PSDP/PSCS requirements
  • Oversee contractor safety compliance
  • Deliver manual handling training and complete DSE assessments
  • Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports
  • Deliver HSEQ training and guidance to staff and clients
  • Produce professional reports for management and clients

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar client-facing HSE role
  • Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and ISO management systems
  • Excellent communication and training delivery skills
  • IOSH membership (or working towards) preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Full clean driving licence and own vehicle
  • Flexibility to travel as required
  • DSE Assessor qualification
  • Experience auditing HSEQ management systems
