Smyth Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional to work across multiple client sites, providing expert HSEQ support and helping drive a strong safety culture.
The role in a nutshell:
As Mobile HSE Advisor, you will provide professional health, safety, environmental and quality support across client locations, ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, and industry best practice.
Main duties include:
- Develop and maintain safety statements, risk assessments and HSEQ procedures
- Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 integrated management systems
- Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Manage emergency preparedness and response planning
- Prepare project H&S documentation, including PSDP/PSCS requirements
- Oversee contractor safety compliance
- Deliver manual handling training and complete DSE assessments
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports
- Deliver HSEQ training and guidance to staff and clients
- Produce professional reports for management and clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety (essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar client-facing HSE role
- Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation and ISO management systems
- Excellent communication and training delivery skills
- IOSH membership (or working towards) preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Full clean driving licence and own vehicle
- Flexibility to travel as required
- DSE Assessor qualification
- Experience auditing HSEQ management systems
