Our client based in the Dublin area is currently looking to recruit a Logistics Operations Analyst for an immediate start. This role is supporting and reporting directly to the Director of Road Operations.


Main duties include:

  • Assist the Fleet Manager to maintain vehicle KPI’s such as the following:
  • Fleet availability – all fleet and by vehicle type
  • Fleet reliability tracking – collating maintenance history per vehicle
  • Maintenance of tax & CVRT expiry records
  • Monthly cost measurement and analysis
  • Compile and report on the following other items:
  • Driver attendance and punctuality
  • Non-conformance measurement and root cause analysis
  • Stops per hour by route by depot (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Route profitability analysis
  • New customer marginal cost/gross margin analysis
  • Support the installation of handheld devices in order to eliminate the reliance on paper dockets/POD’s
  • Support the installation of navigational aids for the Road Operation to incorporate online/real time re scheduling.
  • Ad hoc reports/projects as requested by the Director of Road Operations

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • 3 years + working within Fleet Management is desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills required especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in Data Warehousing/BI Analytics tools advantageous
  • A strong financial background is also an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities while working independently
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changes in priorities in a busy work environment
  • Ability to lead, coordinate and manage projects
  • An individual who works well with others to deliver as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail along with Strong written and verbal communication skills
